Delete Your Account

Effective date: August 29, 2026 · PureSynq LLC, Palm Coast, Florida

This page explains how to request deletion of your account and associated data for PureSynq (Android package com.puresynq.app, published on Google Play by PureSynq), the iOS app, and the web apps at app.puresynqpro.com and portal.puresynqpro.com. It is published by PureSynq LLC.

1. Two kinds of accounts

PureSynq is business software. Which path applies to you depends on who created your login.

Account owner (pool service company)

You signed your company up for PureSynq. Your account owns the company workspace: its customers, routes, service reports, photos and invoices. You can delete the entire account and its data.

Staff member (technician, office user)

Your login was created for you by your employer and belongs to your employer's workspace, in the same way a work email account does. You cannot delete it yourself, and neither can we without your employer's instruction — the service records attached to it are your employer's business records, not personal data you control. You can ask your employer's PureSynq administrator to remove your access, or contact us and we will coordinate with them.

Pool owner using the customer portal

Your account was created by the pool service company that serves you, and that company controls your data. Contact them directly to have it removed. If you cannot reach them, write to us and we will assist them in honoring your request.

2. How to request deletion

Option A — from inside the app (account owners)

  1. Open PureSynq and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Scroll to the account section and tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm when prompted.

Option B — by email (anyone, including if you no longer have the app)

Send an email to support@puresynqpro.com with the subject line Account deletion request, and include:

Send the request from the email address on the account where possible. If you cannot, we will ask you for other information to confirm you are entitled to make the request — we will not delete an account on the word of someone we cannot identify.

We respond to every request within 30 days, and normally much sooner. If a request cannot be completed, we will tell you why.

3. What gets deleted

Once a deletion request is verified, access is disabled and the following is permanently deleted within 30 days:

DataWhen
Account and profile: name, email address, phone number, password credentials, roleWithin 30 days
Customer records entered by the company: names, service addresses, contact details, pool and equipment detailsWithin 30 days
Service reports, water chemistry readings, checklists and route historyWithin 30 days
Photos attached to service reports and support casesWithin 30 days
Messages in support casesWithin 30 days
Push notification tokensImmediately
Encrypted backups containing the abovePurged within 90 days

4. Deleting part of your data without deleting your account

You do not have to close your account to have data removed. If you only want certain information deleted, you can ask for that instead, and the rest of your account keeps working normally.

What an account owner can delete directly

If you are the account owner, you can do two things yourself while signed in, without contacting us:

Your account and the rest of your data are not affected in either case.

Everything else — by email

Other deletions are handled by us on request. That includes an individual service report, a single photo, a message in a support case, or a specific piece of contact information.

Email support@puresynqpro.com with the subject line Partial data deletion request and tell us specifically what you want removed. Include the email address on the account and your company name, and send the request from that address where possible.

We complete verified partial deletion requests within 30 days, and normally much sooner. Your account, your login and the rest of your data are not affected.

The retention rules in the next section apply here too: we cannot delete invoices or payment records on request, because we are required to keep them. If part of what you ask for falls under those rules, we will tell you exactly which part and why, and delete the rest.

5. What we keep, and why

We cannot delete everything, and we would rather say so plainly than promise otherwise.

DataRetainedReason
Invoices, payment records and financial transaction history7 years from the date of the recordTax, accounting and audit obligations in the United States. These are business records of transactions that actually occurred, and deleting them on request is not permitted
Records of the deletion request itself3 yearsTo prove we honored the request if we are ever asked
Security and abuse logs12 monthsFraud prevention and account security
Anything a law, subpoena or legal hold requires us to preserveAs requiredLegal obligation

Retained records are kept only for the purposes above. They are not used to provide the Services, and they are not used for marketing.

6. Data held on behalf of a pool service company

When a pool service company uses PureSynq, the data it enters about its own customers belongs to that company. If you are one of those customers, that company decides what happens to your data and we act on its instruction. Deleting a company's PureSynq account deletes the customer records that company entered, subject to the retention above.
